Council Bluffs Vex Robotics Club Students Qualify for World Championship

Three Council Bluffs Community School District Vex Robotics teams accepted bids to the 2021 Vex Robotics Live Remote World Championship during a robotics tournament at Thomas Jefferson High School. 
Franklin Elementary School's 3130A Baby Yoda won the highest award and honor taking the Worlds Bid for Elementary. The won the Excellence Award. This award is the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics competition. This award is presented to a team that exemplifies overall excellence in building a high-quality robotics program. This team is a strong contender in numerous award categories. Key criteria • Engineering Notebook must be submitted • Ranking for Design Award • Ranking for Qualification Matches • Ranking for Robot Skills • Ranking for other judged awards • Quality of the team’s interview with the Judges • High-quality robotics program • Team conduct.
Wilson Middle School's 2501Z Zom-Bees and 2501V The Killer Vee's won the Teamwork championship. 2501 Z won the Excellence Award. All three of these teams Qualified for Worlds.
