Welcome to Kanesville Learning Center

Welcome to Kanesville Alternative Learning Center. We are a high school program created to meet the needs of the non-traditional learner. Kanesville provides a smaller school setting with caring adults to assist students toward their goal of high school graduation.
Passages: The mission is to help high school students with behavioral/emotional conditions who have been unable to maintain traditional school placement. This is done through a combination of behavioral supports and personalized learning instruction. Our goal is for each student to successfully transition to a less restrictive placement.
Middle School Transition (MST): The goal is to provide an environment in which students can develop the skills needed to transition and remain in the traditional school setting. In addition to academics there will be a focus on teaching social and emotional skills to include coping strategies.
Kanesville Middle School: The goal is to prepare MS students who have difficulty in a larger classroom to work on skills to help them be successful in a regular classroom.
ARC– Academic Reassignment Center: This is an alternative to out-of-school suspension for students 9-12; they work on academic standards in a small atmosphere.
