The Council Bluffs Community School District’s Certificate Advancement Program (CAP) at Iowa Western Community College offers students various Career & Technical Education pathways at no cost. Students who participate in the Certificate Advancement Program will receive a half-day of instruction by our Council Bluffs Community School District teachers in state of the art facilities on the campus of Iowa Western.

Motivated high school students will have the opportunity to earn college credit and a postsecondary credential in Culinary Arts (Food Technician Certificate) or Health Sciences (Certified Nurse Aide).
