AIM TRIO TALENT SEARCH
The AIM TRIO Talent Search program is funded by a grant awarded to AIM Institute, by the U.S. Department of Education. The goal of the grant is to provide students, parents and guardians with FREE educational programs and resources to help students successfully graduate from high school and enroll in college. Talent Search provides FREE workshops, sessions, and enrichment activities to encourage students to perform at their highest potential and take an active involvement in setting higher educational goals.
WHAT DOES TALENT SEARCH OFFER?
The AIM TRiO Talent Search program offers FREE services such as: clubs, college events, hands-on technology experiences, resources and other STEM offerings (science, technology, engineering & math). Our goals are to assist students in personal development, career exploration, and college preparation - to help them Graduate Twice.
Free Services provided to High School Students
Career and College awareness activities (such as field trips to colleges/universities)
ACT prep and assistance with registration
Financial aid and scholarship advising
College preparation workshops for students and parents/guardians
Mentoring / tutoring
Summer academies
Daily homework help
STEM/Technology Clubs

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Student eligibility for the program is determined based on the completion of a one-page application form and ability to meet federal guidelines. AIM seeks students who want assistance with coursework and improving their grades, are interested in learning more about careers in Information Technology (IT), who want to continue education beyond high school and are seeking guidance in choosing a career field.
